Benefits, description and types of stainless steel pools
A stainless steel pool is an investment for decades. On this page you will find what stainless steel can do technically, what material we build our shells from and how the skimmer and overflow systems differ. Nine reasons why stainless steel is the right choice for a pool:
Long service life
A stainless steel shell lasts for decades without visible signs of wear. We give a 15-year warranty on the shell.
Robust construction
2.5 mm wall sheets, 4 mm anchoring elements and a dedicated load-bearing frame of stiffeners — the shell keeps its shape even under water pressure.
High resistance
Stainless steel withstands mechanical and thermal stress, frost, UV radiation and the chemicals used in pool water treatment.
Hygienically safe
A smooth, non-porous surface with no grout lines or bonded joints. Algae and bacteria cannot take hold, and chemical consumption goes down.
Easy maintenance
Routine washing is all the surface needs. No repainting, no regrouting and no replacing the pool liner every few seasons.
Year-round operation
There is no need to drain the shell for winter — the flexible stainless steel structure can even cope with the water surface freezing.
Timeless design

Each pool is made to measure to suit the specific site conditions, with the final welding carried out on site.

Pool types
Skimmer pool
Surface water is drawn off through a skimmer set approx. 10–15 cm below the top edge of the pool. From there it flows to the pump and filter, then through any water treatment and heating, and back into the pool.

- No balance tank required
Overflow pool
Water flows over the entire perimeter of the pool into an overflow channel and on into a balance tank. From there it passes through the pump and filter, where it is cleaned, treated and heated, before returning to the pool through a floor inlet channel.

- Even water circulation
Disadvantages
- Higher cost
- More demanding structural preparation
- Requires more space
Customisation
Every pool can be tailored to individual requirements for design, dimensions and equipment. It can also be fitted later with a wide range of features such as waterfall showers, steps, underwater LED lighting, massage systems and other accessories. This means the client can start with a pool in its basic specification and gradually upgrade it to suit their needs and budget.
We also offer renovation of existing pools by stainless steel relining — there is no need to demolish the original shell.
